Terra Nuova

Terra Nuova is a not-for-profit organisation that was founded in 1969, and formally registered on 13 October 1971, and is engaged in the field of international solidarity and cooperation between communities and peoples.

Our main aim is to support social organisations working in countries around the world, specifically, those organisations that are interested in contributing to social change, in promoting equality, in economic, environmental, political and cultural sustainability and in peace.

Today we are present and active in Latin America, Africa and Europe.

We have been members of the Secular Coordination in NGOs for International Development (COCIS) since its foundation, of Concord Italia (a platform representing Italian organisations within Concord Europe, the European coordinators of solidarity and development organisations) as well as of other international and thematic coordination platforms in Italy and abroad.
